Facilitators:

Heather Lawlor has been recognized as the leading expert in South Africa in the field of Credit Management, this has been proved by Heather being the proud recipient of the Regional award for Credit Executive of the year 2002, and the National award for Credit Executive of the year 2002.

Heather is a multi skilled individual who has been involved in various different Industries and has thus gained vast experience, in which she has achieved great success. She has 30 years experience in the field of Credit Management and 17 years experience in the lecturing field.

At present Heather is undertaking the role of Group Credit Director for the internationally recognized PG Group (Pty) Ltd who are world-class leaders in the glass industry.

Since joining the PG Group six years ago they have recognized her as Top Achiever for two consecutive years, for her achievements in the field of Credit Management, for her third year 2002, she received the "Recognition of Excellence Award"

Her further responsibilities lie in the field of facilitator for various learning institutes, of which she was Senior Facilitator for Damelin Management School, for the past 10 years, but was also National Subject Head for Damelin.

Heather is also a Director of the Institute of Credit Management (ICM), Vice Chairperson on the Board, and was the Chairperson of the Regional Committee for Johannesburg for the past three years.

Heather launched her fourth book "The company you keep" in October 2003, her first two books were accepted as standard syllabus at Damelin Management School; the third Book "The Handbook of Credit Management", was co-authored, and was published in May 2001, and is also part of the syllabus for Damelin Management School. A commission has been received to write two new syllabus text books for 2005; a booking has been confirmed to write and present for an International company, plus a confirmation is pending for an International company to compile, write and present their Credit Policy and Procedures Manual.

Heather's further hobbies are the development and writing of general and in-house courses, which include: Operational Risk, Transport, Budgeting, Risk Management, Sales and various Credit Training courses, designed and developed for specific companies needs, also incorporating the development of companies in-house Credit Policies and Procedure manuals.

Independent Companies for which programs have been written and presented include: PG Glass, Glass South Africa, PG Group, Federated Timbers, Imation (3m), Grinaker, Sky Products, Multotec, Corobrick, Graskop Sawmills, Fuchs Lubricants, Scaw Metals Group of Companies (part of Anglo American), Kredit Inform, Lisho Events Management, Marcus Evans International, Excellente International, CBM etc. (the last three companies are event management companies and several programs have been written, developed and presented for them in RSA and in neighbouring states).

Heather is an Associate of Ken Mills and Associates.

Heather regularly accepts guest invitations to present at workshops and conferences, her specialized knowledge and expertise have taken her across South Africa and its neighbouring states.
